Hello,

 

while creating a family for Hvac components, i am not getting what is flow factor and loss coefficient for a connector..... please hep me out

Hi @Anonymous

Flow Factor ~ get's active with Flow Configuration - System and represents percentage of flow which goes to that specific connector. 

Loss Coefficient ~ active with Loss Method - Coefficient. Belongs to the loss method adopted by the user so.. it can be a coefficient of loss.

if there is no connector in that family, you will need to add the correct one

look in this location to load the connector you need

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2016\Libraries\US Imperial\Mechanical\MEP\Connectors
