Materials on Duct/Pipe systems

Hi everybody,
i have a problem with my duct systems. I added a material to the duct (suppose color yellow). then the mechanical equipment and duct fittings have other material (black), but when I connect everything in the same system the mechanical equipment and the duct fittings use the material (yellow) of the duct.
Is there any way to show the real material of the equipment and the fittings?

check the duct and pipe systems type properties within the project browser.

after setting duct systems family graphic overrides to No Override, see if the system displays the way you want.  If you can send me a revit model showing just a single duct system you built, I can check too.
