Looking for a tutorial about setting up a piping system

I'm looking for good tutorials on creating a system with pipes. 

 

I can place the pipes, sure, but to create a system through which I can properly set the the pressure drops a system would create as well as the flow through the entire system.

 

I can set a lot of these values manually but I'd like to see more direct results. All the tutorials I can find are primarily about placement and creation of parts.

I think Autodesk comes with very nice lessons for Creating Pipe Systems.
