Loaded Profile (Sweep) are not editable in Refnet Family

Hello,

I am working on a family which I've downloaded online from Daikin website.

Now since I want to change size of pipe, connector size is being getting changed but its family size remains as it is.

So when I tried to edit sweep, I am not able to edit loaded profile.

I don't want to spend more time creating new family, kindly let me know if we can edit loaded profiles?

Or if anyone can help me with a good parametric Refnet family.

Thanks.

Not sure what the problem is. If I edit the family I can select a different profile from the ones already available. Besides that profiles are loadable families so you can load different ones or create your own profiles and use that for the swept blend.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Hi @L.Maas ,

I wish to edit that specific profile there itself.

Even in your screenshot, you have selected a profile ' Profile - Circle - Radius...'. but below it edit option is grey out.

I hope this clears you what I'm looking for.

To edit that sweep:

1. Click "select profile 1/2"

2. Under the profile dropdown set it to by sketch.

3. click edit profile right below drop down.

4. sketch your own profile and hit the check to finish and then hit the check again and the sweep will update.

Let me know if you have trouble!

In the 'Families' section on the Project Browser, the heading Profile will be there and you can right-click the type and then you can open the family to edit.
