Linking Revit and Matlab?

Anybody and Everybody who may have an answer,

I work for a small Arch/MEP firm that has recently started developing projects using only Autodesk Revit. More specifically Revit 2017. Before our Revit libraries were set up, the architects would design in Revit and we would design in AutoCAD. When we were using AutoCAD I had developed several codes that could perform calculations akin with our company standards and code requirements. Some of these methods of calculation that are required by certain jurisdictions are not standard in revit and I was wondering:

Is there a way to link Matlab code into revit to perform calculations?

Can you create a Revit Add-in from matlab?

Is there a Revit Add-in that allows you to link matlab code? (I do not care about price)

I am more than willing to alter my matlab code to achieve this if the process isn't too convoluted. I do not currently know how to code in revit's language (quick tip links are welcomed for this).

TL;DR - I want to somehow get revit to perform calculations based off of my matlab code for jurisdictions that require a calculation method not standard in revit.
