Linking Ifc - Category could not be assigned

Hi,

I tried to set Revit Family Categories for IFC elements with the classes IfcChiller, IfcCompressor, or IfcHeatExchanger in order to link an external IFC file to my project.

I modified the classes and categories in the IFC options. In the past, I've done this quite often, and it usually worked. However, for the classes mentioned above, it seems that Revit does not consider the definitions in the IFC options menu.

I am using Revit 2024, and the linked model is IFC4.

During further investigation, I deleted all the entries in the IFC options and tried to link the model again. The resulting family-category mapping was not based on the definitions in the menu.

Any suggestions?
