Lines not printing correctly when using vector processing

Hello. Hopefully someone can help.

Take a look at this screenshot from Revit. You can see two different types of clearance lines. These lines are model lines within the equipment family.

When I print using vector processing (our preferred printing method), the lines do not appear correctly. They have a thicker black line behind the clearance lines.

The thicker lines to not appear when printing with raster processing, but the image looks horrible, which is why we prefer vector.

Does anyone know why these lines are not appearing correctly when printing with vector processing? I have tried printing using every PDF printer available in our office (Bluebeam, Nuance, Microsoft, and Adobe) and they all do the same thing.

I am using Revit 2017. I have not tested this in any other version of Revit.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Steven

Some more info to work with: I have found that it only has this problem when the View Discipline is set to Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing. The lines print correctly when the view discipline is set to Architectural, Structural , or Coordination. So I still need a solution...

Can you share a family?  Does it print the same if you place the families on a new project file from the OOTB template?

Thanks for your reply!

I just checked and it does print properly using the a new OOTB template. I compared print settings between my file and the new file and there are no differences. I've checked everything I know to check...

So I just saved a copy of our project template, put in a wall and my clearance family, and purged it of everything. The only thing in this file right now is a wall (for hosting) and the clearance family in question. It's attached.

The object style visible in plan view is (or should be) Electrical Equipment -> Electrical Clearance.

Can you see if you find what's going on?

Many thanks!

The MEP Hidden line style is set to 4.  Change it to 1.

Thanks! It worked. But I don't understand why that would affect printing. The object style for that line that's visible is Electrical Equipment -> Electrical Clearance. Where does MEP hidden come into play there. And why would it only do it when using vector processing? What else does the MEP Hidden Line Style control?

Thanks.
