Lines drawn over grids not printing clearly

Hello,

I am facing this issue on multiple projects in multiple versions of Revit.

When I draw a detail line that is aligned with a grid it does not print properly. Only the parts where there is a space between the dash and dot of the grid, the detail line print in its original dark version.

I have attached a screenshots of how it looks in Revit and in PDF.

I have tried the arrange tool in Revit to try and make the detail line to "Bring to Front" and "Bring Forward" but it does not work.

Any ideas on how I can make these detail lines print in normal way?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Are your printer settings set to raster or vector processing?

Try changing this setting. Normally it will fix this.

Hi @nmarcelis

Yes, I tried this. No luck. Any other options that you might have?

Is your grid lines not black?  None black lines will print on top black lines.

@ToanDN - Grid lines are grey. Thre lines that I wanted to print in full are black color.

Yes that was my guess.  I don't see any solutions except using black grid lines, or make them much thinner than the other lines.

In your print Settings, are you printing using Blacklines/Greyscale/Color?
