Line thickness

Hi

I'm working on a family to create manholes (for sewage systems). This family is built out of several nested families. In one of the nested families (connections to the manhole) I have created some 2D symbolic representations for production schematics. In my first family everything is working fine (Sheet "A111- Unnamed" view  "Floor Plan: Productie D.03"). Here the 2D schematic representations are correctly displayed including line thicknesses and colors (family "BERS_52_ME_UN_TP PVC").

At view "Floor Plan: Productie D.04" not all 2D schematic repressentations are displayed correctly. The line thickness and colors are not visible for the nested connections families (The arrows should be drawn bold). Both views are using the same view template. All 2D lines use the same style.

Can someone explain to me why this works for family "BERS_52_ME_UN_TP PVC" and not for family "BERS_52_ME_UN_TP MDPE"?

Thanks

Filip

So first thing I have done is bring both objects in same view (remove crop and move in plan one of the objects.

So when in same view they both behave same (thin or thick arrows). So it seems the families are Ok. So something in the view then?

And sure, there is a difference

So the views are related to different levels having an impact on the view range resulting in slightly different line thicknesses.

(I also note that your families are highly detailed and big in size, seeing some of them above 5 MB. Keep them as simple as possible to not slow down Revit too much.)
