Level in wrong offset, how to fix this without affecting the model

Hi there,

I have model which all MEP content is modelled in proper offsets in regards to position but the level is in the wrong offset. Is there a way to change the level offset without affecting the services?

Is the MEP content a separate linked model? It sounds like everything in regards to MEP content is in the proper place but the levels themselves are in the wrong location. Am I interpreting that correctly? If so are the wrong levels a linked model or are they in the active model?

Hi,

The levels were created to collaborate with previous model, now they are just locked and not following the linked files levels but they are in the wrong offset. If I move the levels all services are moved which is not what we are aiming for... We just want to change the level offset and leave the rest as is

Ok, what I do if I forget to copy monitor levels is just delete them and create new ones. Or alternatively ill select all my levels and copy them and move them up or down accordingly if they are all off by the same amount, all levels are 2 foot too low for example. It doesn't take too long to reset views and what not. The MEP content should re-reference to the newly created levels once the old ones are gone but it's not guaranteed that they will. If it's just your levels that are in the wrong location I'd go this route.

If its not too late you can copy monitor back to the old model you were collaborating with then run coordination review to the new model and the levels should match up to the new locations without affecting the MEP content.

Edit: I thought about this some more. If you copy monitor then the MEP content will move if the reference level moves.

In case anyone finds this thread looking for answers...
I found this Dynamo that will move things to the correct level without moving them.
