Large radii elbow fitting for pneumatic (retail) systems

Trying to make a custom elbow fitting for a pneumatic system like they would use in a bank (for the drive thru teller service).

So far I have made a new pipe type and pipe segment. According to one manufacturer, the typical radius for the carrier pipe is 4 1/2". The radius for an elbow in the system is 2'-3"

So, I started with the Generic Model, changed category for the family and made the extrusion using the sweep tool.

When I try modeling this revit keeps either giving me incorrect errors of not placing the elbow correctly or gives me an "no auto route" error. I have checked the routing preferences for the system and I have the elbow selected. I am not sure if just having the one size is causing some error, or the family still has some error. I did try remaking the family and making sure I had the sweep path constrained and locked to the reference planes, but still no luck.

Any help on this is appreciated.
