We received a proposal from client to integrate a Primtech and Revit. Is there any option currently available with autodesk to do so?  if so whether we can collaborate and get all the updation between each other?

As far as I can see Primtech is a 3D CAD programme so I think the best you could achieve (I could be wrong though!) would be to output 3D drawings from Primtech and then import them into Revit either straight in to your model or into families where you can add parameters, connectors etc.

You can also maybe export data/schedules to Excel or .csv format(?) and use that to populate parameters/schedules in Revit.

Having said that I had never heard of Primtech until 10 minutes ago so my comments are only based on a brief look at  their website.

Hi Iainsavage,

Thanks for your response.

We are looking for a live integration were if we change something on Primtech and save that needs to synchronize with Revit. We are not looking for offline integration that would become very critical during Design phase. We are planning to do all electrical calculations through Primtech while layout preparation needs to do in Revit. Is that possible with any software/Plugin available with Autodesk?

Hi sivaprasad,

Just wondering if you had any development on your integration between Primtech and Revit?
