What view settings do you have? Your pipe "Tee" also look weird.

How close up do yo need to show the pipes and insulation? this looks much more zoomed in than you expect in a mechanical view. and it looks like you have "thin lines" enabled?

Is the view category "mechanical"?

You have to play a bit around with detail, category, filters and so on to find something YOU like.

I, for example, color code the systems and the insulation takes on the pipe color. and I use thicker lines. but you may prefer different methods.

Insulation graphics is one of Revit's weaker points. If you are after a better appearance, you could use a thinner insulation but I would recommend using the actual size. Revit is not going to clean up those overlaps for you. The only option that I can think of is to hide the insulation and use linework to give the appearance that you want.

Define "Look Better"....  what do you want to change/improve about it?
