IFC Elements/Components missing in Revit but visible in Navisworks

Hello,

We received a Ventilation-Model as  an IFC-Model from our Customer. We are using REVIT 2017.1 and the IFC-Modell was generated from a higher version of REVIT. Some parts of the ducts are missing and in some sections there is a single line array of rectangles as duct.

But when I import the the Model in Navisworks, the elements are visible with an exception of Duct-Accessories shown in black. The picture with black background is from Navis and with the white from Revit.

I look forward to possible solutions and suggestions.

Hello @Anonymous,

Is your mapping correct?

You need to map the IFC classes to the right Revit Categories.

Hope this helps a bit to get your IFC file into Revit.

Hallo Robert,

Thank you very much for your reply. I had mapped the elements (attached pic) but had linked the IFC-Model. Now I have opened the IFC-File using open IFC menu and I am able to see all the elements but a new problem has arised that the Air-Duct are classified as Pipes.

It would be very helpful of you if you could link a mapping table in your reply.

Thank you.
