I can’t test it the moment but maybe this will help.

If I recall correctly the grille box was a duct accessory and the flow division was done in that component rather than the air terminal.

Yes, but it's a workaround. Thanks

I think Autodesk can resolve this issue.

You can call them work arounds if you want but they are solutions. That's what this forum is for. If you want to get Autodesk to add a new feature you should go to the IDEAS forum instead of being rude to those people trying to help.

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

I understand what you say, but Autodesk wrote to me in 2018, after i opened a support request, that they will push to make this improvement in the future. It's been more of 4 years, that's all...

And, yes I agree with you, workarounds are solutions

I do not feel that I have been rude to anyone. If it seemed, I'm sorry.🙂

I’m not entering the whole workarounds versus proper solutions debate but consider this please.

When you purchase a slot diffuser that is exactly what you get - the slot diffuser face, in pieces for site assembly. You then need to purchase the plenum boxes as an accessory (and usually specify length, height, number of connections, diameter of connections etc). Same for most other grilles and diffusers - you buy/specify the grille or diffuser face and you then have to buy/specify the box as an accessory.
So perhaps it is correct to see the plenum with the two connectors as an accessory (Duct Accessory) rather than as an integral part of the air terminal? So maybe Revit is reflecting real world practice in that regard?

PS: I wasn’t offended by your remark but thanks to @RobDraw for defending my honour anyway.
