How to merge to a single circuit name multi pole circuits?

How can I merge multi-pole circuits to have a single circuit name?

In our local standard multi-pole circuits are only given one Circuit name for example:

1st Circuit:

  • In Revit = CKT 1,3 (2 pole circuit)
  • In local standard = CKT 1 (2 pole circuit)

2nd Circuit

  • In Revit = CKT 2,4
  • In local standard = CKT 2

3rd Circuit

  • In Revit = CKT 5,6,7 (3 pole circuit)
  • In Local standard = CKT 3Circuit naming.JPG

I don't quite understand your question. Are you looking for something like this?

Hello,

In the Electrical settings,  check Merge multi-poled circuits into a single cell.

@fabiosato it looks like it is already set up that way. I think they need to clarify what they're asking.

I had this same question. The original poster is asking if there is a way to group the circuit number in addition to the circuit description. The "merge multi-poled circuits into a single cell" option merges the circuit description, trip rating, and other parameters into a single cell, but the circuit number remains as "1,3" for a 2-pole breaker. Is there a way to group the circuit number into a single number (i.e. "1" for circuit "1,3"; "3" for circuit "5,7"; etc.) as shown on his/her original post.

Hello,

If your panel part type is set to panelboard, it is not possible.

If it is set to switchgear you can achieve this, but you will need to change the load phase distribution in the loads.

If you use Revit 2021, it is way easier.

How will you do it in Revit 2021 or newer?

You will need to create a shared parameter and edit them manually
