How to match specs for Air Handling Unit family

Hello. I'm a novice to revit and HVAC and I'm not able to find a comparable Revit Family for a Lennox CX34-44/48C-6F-1. I was able to find Air_Conditioner-Split_System-Lennox-ML14XC1 for the condenser but not the Air Handler. Can someone help guide me through how to map the parameters in the Generic Air Handling Unit family to the product specs in the attached?

You need to include the spec as part of the family? We usually reference that in the Project Spec. not the individual family.

There are ways to embed it into the family, none I would recommend though. You can make a Link to it though. The catch is, if/when the location changes, the link is broken.  There is a URL parameter in the Identity Data. You can paste a link to the PDF in there. I'd suggest linking it to the manufacturer site.

What do you need to map parameters for? Are there designers that use those parameters as part of equipment scheduling in the model? Are they using this to drive duct sizing off of connectors?

The Lennox CX34 is a cased refrigerant coil, it's not the air handling component to the split system. It usually sits on top of a gas furnace.

AHU Coil - Refrigerant - Indoor gets you a little closer but the refrigerant headers in the model aren't accurate to what it looks like in the real world. Ultimately, you need a box with top/bottom duct connectors, side refrigerant pipe connectors, and condensate drain connectors. If you follow a tutorial on family creation you should be able to set up something like this in about an hour.

It's quite a bit to explain but the jist is, I was just following this tutorial and didnt know about the other revit families. I'll take a look at the AHU Coil - Refrigerant - Indoor family. Thanks
