Hello,

I have a question about the tag of pipe flow direction

I want to make a tag to show a arrow of the pipes flow direction.

I selected the "Slop" parameter in the "Lable" of the Tag Family.

It only show the number of the slop. How to show the direction with arrow?

Many thanks!!!

If you are trying to get your arrow to indicate the slope direction then use the "Spot Slope" tool under in the annotate tab under dimensions.

You can edit the leader styles in "Edit Type" and modify the leader text size.

Supply pipes without slope, this way can't use. Can't put flow arrow.

If you need one to indicate flow then I would do one of two things.

1. Make a custom flow arrow symbol family and use that where needed.

2. If you are showing flow often then I would build it into my pipe tag using detail lines. I would make two types, one with the arrow pointing left and the other with an arrow pointing right. Then control the visibility of the arrows for each type with yes/no parameters. Make sure the tag is set to rotate with the component in the family categories and parameters settings.
