How to hide centerlines for rectangular ducts?

In our view templates, are centerlines displayed for rectangular ducts and round ducts. How can we hide the center lines in the rectangular ducts?

Here is the solution to show the center line in Round Ducts but not in Rectangular Ducts. (See the result below)

What you must do is this:

Turn on the Sub Category 'Center Line' for ducts in your Visual Graphic Overrides.

Set the Visual Style of your View to Hidden line.

Create a filter that filters only Round Ducts. (See picture below)

This Filter will filter all round ducts in your View.

Go to the Filter Tab in Visual Graphic overrides of your View or your View Template and add the 'Round Duct center line'filter to it. (1) 

Set the Transparency Override to the value you like.

Click OK to see the result in your View.

Note: This method will not work in the Visual Style 'Wire frame'.

Because of System color override on Duct layouts, it is unfortunately not possible to set only the center lines to another color then the Duct system Type Override color.

Thank you for your detailed guidance. Unfortunately, it does not work that way. Nothing changes.

I've also created a filter for the rectangular centerlines on the same way, so that I can turn off in the filter tab in visual graphic overrides. But then the rectangular ducts disappear completely. Only the isolation remains.

By the way: I tried this with the visual style "hidden lines", of course. So far, however, I'm working with "wire frame", because with "hidden lines" i don't have the correct drawing order. The components in the upper position are covered by the components in the lower position.

You'll need to straighten out these other issues before tackling the centerlines.
