How to have pipe surface pattern appear above linked models

I am curious if there is a way for the solid fill surface pattern, applied to pipes, to 'blank out' lines from linked models.  In this case, I want to have the red pipe appear over top of the walls from the linked architectural model without seeing the grey wall lines through it,

Detail level is set to 'Fine', and I am using the 'Consistent Colors' visual style.

Edited to add:  View discipline is set to 'Mechanical'.

Thank you in advance.

What is your view discipline? I think Mechanical discipline will hide the architectural underlay but I’m not 100% sure.

I have my discipline set to mechanical - the pipe 'lines' appear over top of the underlay, just not the surface fill pattern, which is what I'm after.

Hello,

If you change the view discipline do Coordination and your pipes are above the cut plane, they will appear over the walls, I tried in Revit 2020.
