Hi,

How do I get 1/10" pipe slope? Everything Ive tried, including changing the project units, only allows 13/128" what gives? Please let me know where I am missing it. thanks! Capture.PNG

@kadmonkee

Hi, thanks, but I dont think you understand my problem. I know HOW to create a new slope. The problem is that you cant create exactly 1/10" per foot. If I type in 1/10" / 12" it returns 13/128" / 12". Sorry I should have made my question more clear. See all the other, nice clean pipe slopes in my picture of my original post? I want that, just for 1/10" slope too. thanks!

@kadmonkee

hello,

Perhaps you are thinking of a schedule? I am not talking about the schedule, I am not trying to schedule the slopes. I am right in MEP Settings from the manage tab. The highest in the hierarchy.

the images I posted earlier relate to options within a project

it may effect schedules but these are project units settings

select the slope button to open the Format dialogue box and confirm the settings

if the Use Project Settings box is checked you may not be able to override this value

@revitworkbench, Did you ever find a solution to this? I have a similar problem as I'm trying to slope pipe 1/40" per 12" and the closest Revit allows is 3/128" per 12".

I'm thinking that we are out of luck due to the limitation described here, but maybe there is some kind of work around?

That's 480' until you get a change of 1". I'm curious as to why you would need to that kind of accuracy. It could be accounted for with the flexibility of most materials.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

1/10" = 13/128 looks correct to me. (.1/12)*100=.84% slope.

For example:

1/4" = (.25/12)*100=2% slope

1/8" = (.125/12)*100=1% slope
