How to avoid alphabet sorting in Revit 2024

Hello AU Community,
Previously, all created parameters were sorted according to the creation date.
From Revit 2024 all parameters are sorted alphabetically. This applies to both type parameters and instance parameters in the Properties palette. Alphabetical sorting is always to each parameter group. However, the built-in parameters in the group are not affected.
Is there currently a solution that allows you to avoid the new sorting rules and continue working according to the old rules (by date of creation) ?

It sounds like an issue that came up when Autodesk made some changes to parameters. Upgraded families were getting reorganized. I believe that there was no way to avoid it in upgraded families. It could be fixed by reordering them manually.

Hello,

If you select the leftmost option, it corresponds to the original sorting.

Unfortunately currently there are no possibilities for manual reordering of the Project parameters.
With the new alphabetical approach, Autodesk erases all erlier configured templates.
And it makes an critical impact on data representation from Engineering and Management poit of view in the Projects their update to Revit 2024.

Hello, unfortunately, this option only works with built-in parameters.

Sorry, I assumed you were talking about family parameters. I haven't had a need to organize project parameter order.

Have you verified that adding new parameters keeps the alphabetical sorting?

Hello,

The only option is to create the parameters in an older version and then upgrade the RVT or RTE file.

Transferring the project parameters does not work.

I suggest you create a Revit idea

Thank you for the tip on creating an Revit idea.

Unfortunately, updating the original Master file from Revit 2021 to 2024 gives the same result with the parameters sorted alphabetically.

Hello,

This is bad luck, I upgraded one from Revit 2020 and the order remained.

Hello,

I figured out that only the system families have their parameter order affected.

Loaded families not.
