Help us to get Panelboard from linked files.

Hello everyone.

I'm currently working on electrical projects in Brazil and I am struggling with linked files in Revit Electrical. I have done my reasearch and just found out I can't attach a linked file Pannelboard into another file. 

Large facilities require us to split the project in separate files, otherwise the computers can't load and run them in a reasonable speed. After linking all them together, it is not possible to get the Pannelboards to attach into the detailing blueprints/plans (i.e., the deliverables).

I would like to know if Autodesk is working to enable attaching linke files Pannelboards, at least a Pannelboard viewer (we don't need to modify the Pannelboards in the linking file, just to visualise them).

If I have said something senseless or that is not correct, please let me now!

You can copy family from linked files.

Go to Collaborate -> Copy/Monitor -> Select Link -> Copy ( Tick Multiple if required) -> Finish (Option Bar) -> Finish (Contextual Panel)

Now you can find your Panelboard in your file itself.

Thanks for replying. Also I apologise because I was not clear in my post. What I want to get from linked files is the Pannelboard Schedule. If I just copy the pannelboard, I believe it will lose the original circuits. I would like to attached the Pannelboard Schedules in a file used just for documentation/detailing. In this way, I need the pannelboard schedule and the only solution I have got so far is: 1)exporting the pannelboard schedule in PDF from original file; 2)converting the PDF file into PNG/JPEG format; 3)inserting the PNG/JPEG into the documentation file.

It not productive this solution. Also, having any change of loads in the original files, I have to keep repeating this process up untill the project is finished. Having a way to attached at least a viewer format of pannelboard schedules of linked files would eliminate this process since it would automatically update the data.

The panel, it's assigned elements (to circuits) and the panel schedule all need to be in the same model. If you must split up models then you need to be careful to do so all of the connected elements remain in the same place. This does not resolve sub-panels or panels "above" that might be in another model... you'll need to consider placing a dummy load panel to assign to circuits in panels that are elsewhere in the model structure.

I was afraid to hear this response. I was hoping a way to attach at least a viewer mode of pannel schedules of linked files. If it were possible, lots of work processes would be easier in Revit. Nonetheless, I appreciate your explanation.
