Having issues creating spaces from multiple linked in architectural models.

Hi,

I have 7 buildings linked into one model (they are very small buildings) and I am trying to create spaces for them all but when I create the spaces it is only showing up with the spaces from one building/linked model. How can I have all spaces shown from all the linked models?

Would I be better linking them into one architectural linked model then adding that link into the MEP model or is there a better way to do it?

Many Thanks

Could you please clarify: are the spaces in the linked models and you just want to be able to see them, or are you creating spaces in your own model? Are all links Revit models or are they IFC?

If its the first, I'm pretty sure elements from all links should be there so you'd need to check any link specific view settings. In a space schedule make sure that Include Elements from Links is enable and see how many spaces show up in the schedule.

If its the second, you need to select the links (one at a time) in your model and edit the type properties to set the link as room bounding.

If they are IFC links, they can't be room bounding - see that same help page.

Hello,

First thing to check is if all link have Room Bounding checked.
