Hi,
I am working on a series of multifamily housing projects that will all use similar unit types. I thought I could reduce workload by creating groups and copying them into the next project.  However, when I try to do this, some of the elements in the group are disconnected and displaced down about 14'-0". (see below) These are not hosted elements, just pipes. I don't really even know where to begin troubleshooting this issue, it seems so random. Why not all pipes or even all pipes of a given type or system? Why not the pipe fittings?  Why 14'-0"?

Placing the groups in the original model does not create this partial vertical displacement, however, the group does not appear on the level of the active view, but two levels higher, so there is something fishy with placement even in the original project.

You need to fix any issues in the original project before trouble shooting in the other projects.
