Expand the category (+ sign) and apply colour to all sub-categories.

Hello,

If @iainsavage suggestion does not work, check if the families don't contain nested families from another category.

Good morning, thank you for your answers.

I still can`t see another colour on the component.

I checked if this for the floors works but perhaps i can`t see anything.

Phase graphics?

Imports in families?

View filters?

etc.

Hello,

Can you share this family?

Your in a MEP forum so I'm assuming your view is set to Mechanical or Electrical and the "Floor" is in an Architectural link. is that correct?

your first screen capture is a shaded 3D View, your second example is a Floor Plan set to Hidden line. where to you want the floor to have a different color?

Good morning fabiosato,

This is not a family, it`s just a generic ( floor ).

Good morning,

I would like to change the colour on the Mechanical view.

Hello,

If the view discipline is set to any MEP discipline, no color can be assigned to the floor elements.

Please change it to coordination to gain control of it.

Then you need to change the surface color of Floors category, not Generic Models category.
