Flex Pipes - Display and representation in elevation plan (floor plan)

Hello everyone. I have an issue with the representation of flex pipes in elevation plan.

Usually, the flex pipes are represented like this:

And in its graphics, it's in the "single line" category. I know we can change for different graphic types which are previously configured in Revit.

But my problem is: If I want/need a new graphic representation for flex pipes, how should I proceed?

For example: I have different types of pipe in my project and I can't use colors to differentiate them. And the options that Revit has are not displaying good for my project.

A solution I found was setting the graphics to "not defined" (as shown in the image below), and using filters to set the line as I wish.

But this option "removes" the 3D extrusion of pipes in 3D views, as shown below:

How should I proceed? Is there a way to create a new graphic style for flex pipes without losing its 3D extrusion?

A view filter that targets a defining parameter like System Type or Type Name would make sense.

I used filters to set the line as I wanted (for example: dashed, dash-dot, etc). But it doesn't work well if I keep the "single line" or other types representation. It only works well if I set it as "not defined", but it affect the 3D representation. But I found a solution which I'll expain below.

Hi, the way he suggest, it doesn't work well. But my team found a solution:

Here's how we can represent the flex pipes changing the graphics:

 

If I add filters for those pipe, it'll display like this:

As you can see, it doesn't look good. And if I set the graphics to "not defined" it'll be ok in elevation plan, but it'll affect the 3D.

So, the solution was in the "Modeling Views". If we go to the category of "flex pipe" and turn off the "default" field, it'll show only the center line with the configuration you wished. And it'll not affect the 3D representation.

(Sorry, my Revit is in potuguese).

Here's the final representation:

Note: The level of detail needs to be medium or low. And, in the 3D view, to see the extrusion of the pipes, it needs to be as "high".

I am sorry, i misunderstood your request. i assumed you wanted to see the flex portion on the 2d sheet and wanted the pattern to be applied to the line style as well.

But yes, I think your solution works great for your single line thought process.
