Fixture Visibility and Elevation

I have a Fixture Plan with fixtures set at an elevation of 5'. I created two sinks in this plan, but when I switch to the North view, the water closets are visible, while the sinks I just created are not. What could be causing this issue? Also, why am I unable to set an elevation from the floor when creating these sinks?

The sink type I selected appeared as a thin layer without depth in the elevation view. I could see it in 3D, but it wasn’t visible in the elevation. I used a different sink and figured out the reason.

The reason will probably be that the family contains 2D lines or symbols rather than full 3D.

Some plumbing fixture families use this method to simplify the 3D modelling whilst showing "detail" in plan views.

The 3D elements, if there are any, might only be visible in certain views and/or detail levels.
