File Menu hangs

So I have done the usual stuff (clear Revit.ini recent file list and disable recents menu) but still Revit takes forever to open the File Menu. Any other ideas on this? I have crated some keyboard shortcuts to bypass it but for example when I try to export schedules this simply does not work....

Recent files list is also stored in your user folder but I don't remember the full path.

Also, this has been fixed with updates to the program. Make sure you are fully updated. If you are running multiple version reinstalling might be in order. Make sure to install the versions in chronological order.
