Hi I've linked a architectural model to my mep project. in false ceiling view the pattern of tile ceiling is not aligned. How can I correct it. I want to insert air terminal in the middle of tiles. When I checked Arch model it is Ok.

Communicate with your Architect. the Ceiling pattern can only be changed in the architectural model.

When you say the architectural model is okay but the ceiling in your model isn’t aligned, do you mean that you have put a ceiling in your own model and want to align it to the architect’s ceiling? Is that what you mean?

I Attached the picture of Arch & Mep model.

It's Arch model that tiles are ok

It's Mep model that you can see tiles aren't align with edges

1. Are both views the same type? Are they both reflected ceiling plans or is one a floor plan?

The pattern on the ceiling is just a surface pattern, not physical tiles and sometimes there is a pattern on the top and bottom surfaces but these are not related to each other and may not be in the same alignment.

2. In your bottom image is that ceiling the same one that is in the architectural link or have you duplicated the ceiling in your MEP model?

If possible, it would help if you upload the models.

Thanks.😍

The view in mep was floor plan . I created reflected ceiling plan and the problem solved. And what is the solution for NWC files that I export from revit. The Tiles are not aligned in navis

Glad that I could help you with that.

I suggest that you open the arch model and align the grid on the top surface of the ceiling to be the same as the grid on the bottom surface then it should show the same in all views. Not sure if this will help with your nwc file.

PS: you probably want to be placing your air terminals in RCP view rather than floor plan - if the terminal families are correctly set up then that should insert them in the correct orientation. Placing in floor plan usually means they land upside down.

Hello,

This problem happens because the hatches on each face, bottom and top, are not aligned.

I posted this idea
