Fabrication Part weight

Hello, I cant seem to figure out why the snoop weight is different from the weight in the parameters? I have no idea on why the snoop weight is 4.6538. I know why the mechanical parameter weight is 10.260 lb is because in the fabrication autocad setting its listed 1.14 per ft, I just dont understand why snoop weight is off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Properties Palette (and other UI) units are user selectable.. what you see in the Snoop UI, I suspect, is the internal units.

10.26 lb = 4.65 kg [according to google]

@Jes_Gonzalez  - if your goal is to get the 10.26 lbs value, I suspect you need to:

1. Figure out what API you need to use to determine what the Project Units are set to.

2. Figure out what API you need to use to convert the internal units to the desired units (from step 1 above).

You'd be better served on the Revit API Forum for that, as unless I'm missing something, this isn't an MEP specific issue.

Here are a couple of blog posts that hopefully get you in the right ballpark... and if you can't get it from there, the API forum would be my suggested next step.
