Hi Autodesk team,

Whenever we export a Revit file to Autocad drawing, quality of extracted file will not be as good as original Autocad file, please let us know the ways to improve the quality of the extracted Cad files to make equivalent to Original Cad files.

Hello @Anonymous,

Please see the following Autodesk Knowledge Network article:

About Exporting to CAD Formats

Setting up the layer mapping is very important.

It all depends on the quality of your Revit families.

For MEP models it is important that you use the Layer Modifier properly

Are you saying that you are importing a .dwg, making modifications, and exporting back to .dwg and expecting a quality .dwg? That's not going to happen without doing some repairing in AutoCAD.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
