Export Revit Family to IFC

I am working with one prjetc of Revit Family (MEP). End client needs the IFC of every component (families).

As I know, there is no option to export IFC from Family editor and exporting from Projetc (one by one 500 families with type) is more time consuming.

I tried to search but no good solution I can find. Any solution?

Hello,

There isnt possibility to direct export revit family into ifc file.

You can do that with load every family into project and than use export to ifc. My opinion - that is huge waste of time.

If you cant avoid needs to convert families to ifc, you can try with dynamo and some macro for automatic process.

Geometry Gym and I believe ODA IFC export tools allow you to export a .rfa directly to .ifc.
