export from revit to autocad

hi every one

when iam exporting from revit to cad the families wa exploded to lines

and it isnot being a block

there are any suggestion to make it a block ?

When the family contains a symbolic annotation representing the actual family, it wil export those as lines.

If the object is only shown as a topview of the 3d geometry, it will export as a block.

 

As shown in this screenshot, the symbol represents an emergency evacuation lighting fixture. This is a symbolic representation of the actual lighting fixture. This exported as lines.

This family contains 3D geometry, but also an annotation object.

 

This family in the screenshot below only has 3D geometry. This is exported as a block.

You should create a sheet and after you can make the export. As a result, you will have 3 or 4 DWG and one of them is a complete block.
