Equipments in a system not showing connected when connections are drawn manually

Hello

So I have a simple system, a boiler and a radiator (both from the standard library). I have added the two pieces of equipment into the hydronic system (supply and return). I started drawing a pipe from the boiler and from the radiator, and connected them midway. Revit won't recognize that the equipment are connected. However if I drew a pipe from the boiler, all the way into the radiator, it then shows them to be connected. Why is this problem occurring?

I have another complex model with multiple components, and I have to draw all the pipes manually. So I have to come around this error. Any help?

Thanks

Hello,

Check if you are not mixing the connections, connect hydronic supply from one equipment to the same system connector on the other.

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

I've checked the connections, the connections go into the correct connector - no error there. So the problem is that when the pipe network is generated automatically, it all works fine. However on multiple occasions, if I draw the same network manually Revit doesn't recognize it. The network never pops in the system.

What is causing this?

Hello,

Whenever you draw a pipe from a connector, a corresponding system is created automatically, check if the system created from each end are of the same system type

Hello,

So when I create a pipe a corresponding system is generated for each connector. But two systems are created under the same category. For instance, Revit will create two Hydronic Supply system, one for each equipment. They should have been under one.

This is so strange an error, the team should do something about this.

Hello,

The only thing that seems strange to me, is that, when you connect both piping systems, if they are of the same type, they merge into one.

Are both systems of the same type?
