elements grayed out

Hello, I seem to have a problem with my duct fittings coming in greyed out. I checked the object styles and the VG menu and they are both the same as the ductwork yet appear to be greyed out (see below). I figure this has to be a Discipline issue, but I have it set to "Mechanical" Discipline, so shouldnt the ducts and the fittings be showing up the same? Thanks!

Same happens if you set discipline to Coordination?

Have you expanded the Duct Fittings category in VG and checked if any of the subitens has something set to them?

Any filters maybe?

Not halftone on Visibility Graphics?

Or maybe try Object styles.

Worksets perhaps?

No, it appears to be a view range issue. When I raise the cut plane it goes away. But I cant have the cut plane raised here. It also doesn't explain why duct fittings are appearing differently than ducts. 😕

@Diego.Faria yes the same thing happens in the coordination phase. and no, there are not any filters.

@jsgalve no its not a VG or object styles issue. I already checked those. Please advise. Thanks. See below

Try to set the underlay to none just like this guy did.
