Element placed in level one but appears on other levels

Am working on a four storey building electrical service design,i have successfully created five levels each with distance of 400 apart,my problem is whenever i placed,moved or delete an element in any level it appears on the other levels say ground floor it appears on 1st floor and rest. Whats wrong please

You are working in a 3D model.

By default all elements are visible in all views, including elements in linked files, unless you change view settings to limit what is seen.

In your case it sounds like you need to change the view range of the floor plan views for your upper levels - normally set a floor plan's view range from "associated level" at the bottom to "level above" at the top and that way you will only see elements which are within the range covered by the level.

You will also inevitably need to understand the use of view filters to exclude elements which you don't want to appear in a view e.g. excluding mechanical items from electrical views etc.
