My electrical wires crossing in electrical lighting views will not gap. The electrical power views will gap.

I changed the sub discipline from lighting to power and there was no change.

Any ideas?

Under Options, try toggling Hardware Acceleration and see if that gets the gaps to appear.

Sub-discipline will have zero effect on graphics, only the main disciplines matter (Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Architectural, Structural, Coordination).

Sub-discipline is only a label used for browser organisation.

The view is hidden line. Changing to wireframe did not change anything.

Check wire type circuits are getting by-default for lighting and power. It might be different, and then check wire settings.
