Electrical Panel Schedule Formating

I am creating panel schedules in Revit. On my floor plan, I want the circuit tag to look like this: (Where 7EM is the panel, and 2 is the breaker number)

To acheive this, I set my panel 7EM to have the properties shown below:

Unfortunately, when I populate the panel schedule for 7EM, it looks like this: (showing the panel and the circuit for every circuit)

I would prefer it to look like the panel below (showing only the circuit number),

but in turn, it changes my floor plan to look like this:

PANEL SCHEDULES4.JPG

So the main question is: how can I get my floor plan wire tag to show 'panel-breaker #' (i.e. 7EM-2) but also have the panel schedule 7EM to have the circuits 1-42 show only the circuit numbers, and not the panel and circuit number.

It sounds like you could leave the Panel naming settings alone and modify the tag you are using to identify the circuits in the views instead. The circuit naming format is pretty rigid but you can use separate labels in a tag family for Panel Name and Circuit and put them in the order you really want. Then the schedule will just report the circuit number as it was before. Give it a try.

Thank you for the quick reply. I interpret your response as editing the wire tag family. I attempted this first, but because of my unfamiliarity with panels and their parametes, I was unable to figure it out. I am used to creating my own tags for electrical devices etc. but I am unfamiliar with Revit panel scheudles in general. Is this something you can help me with? I am familiar with how to create a shared parameter, if this helps. I am currently trying what you have suggested so I may be able to figure it out. Stand by.
