Electrical Circuits and Electrical Panel Schedule in Linked Model

Dears,

I would like to have in a Publication Model (with Revit Model Links) the electrical circuits and electrical panel schedule of my project (electrical devices, electrical panels... are in the linked revit models).

However, the option of copy/monitor is not an option since BIM EMployer Requirements can not allow to have model elements in Publication Model.

Are there any development planned by Autodesk in order to be able to create electrical circuits and electrical panel schedule in a Publication Model?

Best regards,

Alonso

Hi @acandelario ,

If all electrical circuits are in the linked files, you can make a nice summary with a Schedule based on Electrical Circuits. Make sure to check the box "Include elements in links".

Dear Michiel,

Many thanks @mpeperkamp for your response. I knew this possibility.

However, my query is regarding doing Electrical Circuits (annotating 2D views for sheets production) and Electrical Panel Schedule in Publication/Sheet Model, where all MEP models are linked to. Are there any options?

Best regards,

Hi @acandelario ,

In basic Revit there is no option for this.

I do not know if there are "Free software" that can do this.

For the annotated views, you could do the annotation in the linked models and used "By Linked View" for the view settings.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Many thanks @RobDraw . This option is fine for Electrical Circuits issue. It's solved.

However, regarding Electrical Panel Schedule in Linked Model, are there any option?

Best regards,
