Editing list of items in the Sub-Discipline View Categories

Hello there

As you're probably aware, in the Properties Panel, under Graphics, there are several fields: Discipline,Show Grids, ... and Sub-Discipline.

From what I understand, the Sub-Discipline and View Classification are Project Parameters.

I would like to add some entries to the drop-downs for these 2 items.

However, the Help Manual is not really clear to me

Any tips most welcome

Regards

These lists are edited simply by typing in a new value. You can freely edit them.

Once you add a value it will appear in the drop-down list.

to add onto what @iainsavage said... Once you type something in the parameter area, it will be available in that parameter for other items as well.

Hello

Ahhhhhh ..... deerrrrrrrr
I see. Thanks
I've actually been using 'some other software' (that shall remain nameless) for most of the last few years.
Have used Revit MEP on a couple of projects. But everything was already set up by the company. Just assumed (wrongly) that the entries in the drop-down list would need to be set up somewhere in the back-end (by a BIM Manager sort of person).
This makes things a lot easier.
Thanks for your prompt and clear responses
Cheers

Doesn't need to be but could be - you can set values in your template file and they will be available to every new project, whilst still being freely editable in each project.
