Duct not showing in section view

So here is my problem. I am using duct to draw bus duct. When I do a section view of the run, looking at it head-on, the duct will not show. I can do no clipping and only the fittings will show and not the ductwork. Also if you put the section view at an angle then you can see it. Anyone have a solution to this.

That seems odd. are ducts turned on in the vg settings? I realize you said when you set it at an angle the straight shows up but i cant imagine what else would cause it. can you get it to show up with a filter?

no, I have tried that I can have 2 windows up one of the floor plans and the other as the section view and I can select in floor plan and in the section view it will show that it is selected but still no geometry. And yes ducts are turned on

is your detail level on course? another thing just to help narrow it down have you hit reveal hidden elements to see if it appears?

No luck there either. I had this problem yesterday and thought I might come in this morning and it would be working but nope.

Have you checked the rise/drop subcategories in the V/G overrides for the section?

How about sharing a portion of the model that is exhibiting that behavior?

well i dont know how much a screen shot would help us but we can try it. i think Rob was wanting you to portion out the piece of the model that has this issue. that way we could load it up and see if its a view setting or a visibility setting with the duct itself or some other issue.
