Duct Fittings

I am getting stuck on the duct fittings, I am adjusting the diameter of the ducts to match the MEP drawings, and the duct  fittings they are “automatically adjusting,” but they are not automatically aligning to the changeAutodesk Revit 2022 - [Heckler HQ - CD_andrew8QEC8 - 3D View_ {3D - andrew8QEC8}] 12_13_2022 2_43_54 PM.png

Pretty picture but it tells us very little.

It looks like a transition. Depending on the family, it may require adjustments to the instance parameters. Sometimes it's easier to delete the fitting and reconnect.

Highlighted in blue is the duct fitting family when I adjusted the diameter of the ducts it was connect to, it got all out of alignment after adjusting the diameter of the two ducts it fits together, it does not align correctly between the two ducts. I have been messing around with its parameters to no avail, and am going to try the delete and reconnect. But what tool connects the ducts, it usually just does it automatically for some reason and I have no idea how to connect the ducts manually. When I right click the blue icon, I can draw more ducts, but when I try to change the diameter to the next duct, i get "Warning:

The routing solution failed because there is no default fitting type specified or the fitting cannot be found in the project. Ensure the fitting is loaded in the project and try again."

I have also tried right clicking the blue plus sign then dragging the two different diameter ducts but this does not create a duct fitting an leaves both ducts open.

Have you looked at your routing preferences?
