Duct Fittings trimming drop lines

Hello all,

I'm having a hard time understanding what the duct fittings are doing to my duct graphics. For some reason Revit will trim my drop lines for the duct below it instead of showing the drop lines as hidden. (Picture included below for clarification) How do I get Revit to show duct drops as hidden lines instead of trimming the drop lines like the fitting wasn't connected to the duct below it?

I've already tried turning up the transparency on duct fittings and that didn't work, just made all drops look like rises and added centerlines back into my fittings.

Any insight would be appreciated!

You maybe need to adjust these settings:

and it will also be affected by view scale and duct size:

250x250 ducts at 1:100

500x500 ducts at 1:50
