Dropdown list in Project Information and use in TitleBlock

Hi there,

Is it possible to feed a parameter in Project Information with a dropdownlist?

Reason I want this, is that modellers can choose (for example: mechanical / electrical) from the list and this should be populated in the Titleblock. I want this to have more uniformity in the title blocks, cause not everyone types is exactly the same.

For example: some use "mechanical - HVAC" | "mechanical - piping" and others use "HVAC" | "piping"

I've no idea if this would work for you but advice from a web search is to use a Key Schedule to pre-define available values - it seems to be more to do with families, no idea if it works for title blocks.

I don't think you can get them in the "Project Information" or I did not manage it

I will dive in it again this weekend I hope. Thank you! 😉

Morning,

I think this is not possible 😞

To add a key schedule, you need to select an Category. So it wont work for Project Information.
