why do i face with disconnection in pipe after adding pressure gauge?

sorry if i ask ridiculous questions cause i have started learning it for a while , do you  mean i have to change system classification to fitting ? if yes i had done it but it didnt work

Did you read the warning about elements disconnecting when you added the gauge?

Adding up to @J.Wehmer  reply, you need to edit pressure gauge family.

In edit family -> Properties -> Part type -> Change it to Fitting.

Load in project & close  -> overwrite existing, Now try placing this new family 🙂

No, that's the message you get when you click on the triangle. I'm talking about the one that pops up when you add the gauge to the pipe.

That's odd. Revit usually throws a warning when something is getting disconnected.

I do not have 2016 and opening the model in 2017 says it is corrupt and needs to be manually recovered. Whatever is causing your corruption may or may not be related to your issue.

Are you using the OOTB family that comes with Revit? It is set to "Sensor".

I tried placing pressure gauge from you file itself and I didn't found any problem doing so.

Check attached image, I neither edited family. Part type:  Attaches to , Connector: Fitting.

did you check the disconnections? no problem in setting it but when i check disconnections i face with this and in section view the gap is visible

i use  families and templates within revit .what is OOTB ?

It just refers to the content that comes with Revit.

What happens when you reconnect the pipe?
