Hello Sirs, I don't understand why but, when I open the families .rfa I discover that my left click just to select elements has become a a double-click mouse button, and I don't know how set up differently. Do you think I need to upload this file here? is a 2023. rfa family, but this happen with all the family in this Revit.

Thank you to all,

Lorenzo

in the options there is a setting to control that.

  • go to File > Options (bottom right corner)
  • click on User Interface.
  • pick the Customize... button next to the Double Click Options
  • pick the Element Type and select the Double Click Action you want.

I don't think this is related to what I'm saying. Basically I don't double click anything. Is just my PC that is doing it, without my permit.Basically every family project or every family editing when I just one click the lines of the drawing It starts the extrusion command (Create). I attached down here a small video that shows what I am saying.

just as a test to see if it it Revit or your Mouse/PC. Set the settings to "Do Nothing" and see if it still does it.

Yes, I have already done it (Do Nothing)and either Mouse has no problems, out from when I open all families. When I open another Revit version it has no errors. So it only affects this 2023 version installed.

Have you tried using a different mouse or reinstalling your current one?

As I sayed, i Had already changed my mouse recently for another problem. But with the same mouse, I have tried the same work inside another version and no problem I encountered.

I don't see where you said that or if you have switched back to the original mouse after you started having the issue.

No, you are right, because i didn't but I sayed that if I change version the error doesn't appear, so it seems only that version the problem.

It seems that way but you haven't eliminated it as a potential cause. Unlikely as it may seem, I would test. It's very easy to switch out a mouse as long as you have a spare.
