Difference of project base point in Revit and Archicad

Hello Revit users,

Thank you for stopping by,

So after two day of exchanging emails with the architect that users Archicad,

I was surprised when I saw that Revit is offseting the PBP "Point base project" of the Architect after seeing his print screens. "this could make a lot of troubles if someone hadn't make an attention and inserts the .Rvt converted model from the .IFC and start working on it"

you can see the Architect has created 2 Pyramids and put his coordinate point at the point the they touch each other,

But in revit the PBP is offceted and I have to move it.

The thing is that my company does the HVAC, and another company the Plumbing and yet other office the Electricity and we all use Revit but the architect.

and all disciplines should send me their models and ill do the coordination.

I have to call them all and tell them to change the PBP manaly!

secondly why revit creates extra levels?

Thank you for your time .

Hello,

Are using the Graphisoft plugin to convert the IFC to RVT file?
