Demolishing Pipe in R20. Anyone seeing this?

I posted this once before but it seems to have died on the vine and after I posted this video, nothing. So, thinking it just isn't getting seen anymore, I figured I'd give it its own post.

What's happening is, and this is only in R20 (not R19 and older), when I have pipe connected, it will not let me demolish the pipe or any of the fittings/sprinklers/accessories with the "Demolish" hammer tool. I have to disconnect the pipe/fitting/accessories/etc at all connectors first. Thoroughly frustrating and really slows the demo process down even more than normal.

I figured the best way to outline the issue is to make a video, this is what I am getting at. Is there perhaps a setting that I am just overlooking?

Why not just select the element you want to demolish, and instead of using the hammer, change the phase demolished parameter in the properties. I hardly ever use the hammer; however, to answer your question in Revit 2020, I can use the hammer to demolish the items and do not experience what your video demonstrates.

I've tried that approach, too, and it didn't work. However, it working for you sort of tells me I may just have a bad install and to just re-download.

Thanks!

That was indeed it. A fresh install and now it works as it should. Thanks for the input!
