Deleted fixture in a circuit, can you create another and reconnect it?

so some fixtures are deleted in the circuit shown, is there a way to create a fixture that can be connected in the empty slot of fixture in the circuit shown? thank you000d.png

Hi!

Unfortunately there is always some manual work involved. One thing is the circuit. As soon as your fixture is part of the circuit, your calculations are alright. The second thing is the wires. Once they are created they don't really update with the cirsuit anymore.

 

But my suggestion would be:

- Place the new Fixture

- Select the circuit and add the new Fixture to the circuit

- Manually drag the endpoints of the wire to the new Fixture

 

If you have a lot of Fixtures it is maybe quicker and safer to just delete the wires and automatically create them new.

if that linework was placed using the Wire or Convert to Wire tool, there is no way to automatically connect those lines back to the circuit. you'll have to place the fixtures then pick the grips at the end of the "wire" and reconnect them to the fixtures connector manually. at that point you may need to weigh if its easier just to delete the linework, replace the fixtures, add them to the circuit, select the circuit and use the Convert to Wire tool.
